Southeast Gastro is dedicated to providing our patients with the best possible medical care. If you have medical insurance, we want to help you receive your allowable benefit. Southeast Gastro participates in Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shields PMD, United Healthcare, CIGNA, and most other commercial insurance plans.
You are required by your insurance contract to pay all copays at the time of your visit. If we do not have a contract with your insurance company we will file your insurance as a courtesy, but payment of all charges remains your responsibility. It is important that you realize your insurance contract is between you, your employer, and the insurance company.
We request payment to be made at the time services are rendered unless arrangements have been made in advance. Payments may be made by cash, check, Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover.
PATIENT REFUND POLICY
Southeast Gastro makes every effort to ensure accuracy in our patient accounting process. Our staff works diligently to identify and refund patient overpayments as quickly as possible. In order for an overpayment to qualify for a refund, the following conditions must be met:
1. The patient must NOT have an appointment scheduled within sixty (60) days of the date the overpayment was identified AND
2. The account must not have any outstanding insurance claims.
